I woke up this morning with a very bad mood! I was forced to move out of my bed after my mom and dad woke me up to prepare a quick breakfast for the three of us. To be frank, I really dont want to be disturbed from my sleep..not unless it was of my request. Well, they just wanted me to cook rice, boil water and fry some eggs, simple tasks that even a grader could do. Instead, they opted to just lay down on their beds watching tv and gave all the responsibilities to me. They even had the pleasure of laughing and talking about the tv show they were watching....they were obviously alert and fully awake.
I dont have anything against me being commanded to do so but please dont wake me up! Im not even a breakfast eater...I could survive and go to work without breakfast. Plainly, it would not benefit me even a bit.
The "obedient" me stood out of my bed with a frowning face and prepared everything that I would be needing. I made it obvious that I was pissed and was not taking the pleasure of doing such chore. I murmurred, (making sure that they could hear), "ngano pukawon man jud ko, gahulat jud na ako mobakod"
Mom told me that she cant cook since she feels dizzy with her medicine by which I understand fully. But Dad had no reason to say....it was clear to me that it was purely out of laziness.
As I grew older, now 23, I know that its my time to give back to my parents. I am willing to do all the chores at home which I usually do, but please please please! NEVER DISTURB MY SLEEP! My close friends and my older brother knows that I would gone wild if that rule would be compromised.... If you do so, its not me you're dealing with, its the other side of me that only a few had the opportunity to meet.
