The series brings us back to the reign of King Henry VIII, who was brought to the throne by surprise after the apparent death of his older brother. The king, like any other leaders, wanted to have his name immortalize giving his people pride and honor in every ways possible.
The series gave us a good knowledge on how the people around the king conspired and betrayed each other to advance their different interest and ambitions.
Famous personalities of the times includes Queen Katherine of Aragon, Mary and Ann Boleyn, Mary Tudor (latter known as Bloody Mary). Based on my researches, these characters were well portrayed.
I salute the producer/s and writer/s and the people behind this series. This is a much watch series and is worth your time.
